An experienced individual is required to work with Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) staff to:

 a)    develop a plan in collaboration with external stakeholders for

training and resource support for individuals involved in local risk factor surveillance in Canada; and

b)    develop, implement and monitor project plans for the PHAC in the area

of risk factor surveillance.

 Experience:

Considerable experience working in risk factor surveillance in a local public health unit, and in interactive web-based education.

 Knowledge:

• Local risk factor surveillance
• Adult education
• Web-based tools

 Abilities:

• Effective interpersonal skills
• Team player
• Independent worker
• Project management
• English oral and written skills

Duration: 6-9 months, full time, beginning April 1, 2010
